Account and Data Deletion

This page explains how SnapMind users can delete their account and request deletion of related data. It applies to users of the SnapMind Android app distributed through Google Play.
1. How to delete your account in the app
Please follow these steps:
- Open the SnapMind app;
- Go to the “Profile” page;
- Tap “Delete Account”;
- Read the confirmation message and confirm account deletion.
2. Data deleted when you delete your account
After an account deletion request is confirmed, we will delete or anonymize data directly associated with the account, including but not limited to:
- Account profile, sign-in identifier, nickname, and avatar information;
- Screenshots and thumbnails uploaded by you;
- OCR text, AI summaries, AI categories, tags, and recommended actions;
- Todos, reminders, knowledge base content, favorites, and related screenshot associations;
- AI assistant Q&A history, search history, and in-app generated content;
- General usage data and preferences associated with the account.
3. Data that may be retained
To comply with legal, tax, financial, payment, dispute resolution, security audit, or anti-fraud obligations, we may retain a limited amount of data for the necessary period, such as:
- Google Play order, subscription, and transaction verification records;
- Necessary service logs, security logs, and troubleshooting records;
- Information that must be retained under applicable laws or regulations.
Such data is retained only for compliance, security, dispute resolution, or necessary business record purposes and will not continue to be used to provide personalized app features.
4. Deletion processing time
Account deletion requests submitted in the app usually begin processing immediately. Some data may take additional time to be removed from backups, caches, logs, or systems subject to legal retention requirements. We will complete processing within a reasonable period.
5. Request deletion by email
If you cannot sign in to the app, you may also contact us by email to request account data deletion. Please include your sign-in method, account identifier, or other information that helps us locate your account.

6. Important notes
- After account deletion, you will no longer be able to access screenshots, AI analysis results, todos, or knowledge base content under that account;
- Deleting your account does not automatically cancel your Google Play subscription. You must manage or cancel subscriptions in your Google Play account;
- If you still have an active subscription, deleting your account may prevent the account from using the corresponding membership benefits.
